The Sanskrit word ‘kosha’ is translated to “covering, sheath, veil over of our ‘pure light being’”. The concept of Koshas can be considered as ‘yogic anatomy’ – how we work as humans, and how we grow and develop as individuals. It is an approach to address the question “Who am I?” (What/Where/When/How/Why am I?). In this workshop we will delve deeply into each of the 5 Koshas and their interconnections to answer these questions, physically, energetically and emotionally through discussion and a Kosha asana sequence repeated focusing first on sensations, second on breath, and third on chakra flow. Suitable for all levels, including beginners. The workshop is more meditative, as students move at a slower pace with their own breath and prana patterns to explore the Koshas.
